i paid nothing for it and would like to do a 3 door and uno turbo engine conversion.

I love Unos my old one served me well.
Not sure a 3 door conversion is feasible.

A turbo conversion thats definatley doable but is it a good idea?

I'm many cases getting a shell up to spec for a conversion like that. Then sourcing all the proper bits brakes, suspension, gearbox, driveshafts not forgetting an engine ( there will be more but thats for the experts to point out. )
It's often much cheaper just to try find a decent Uno Turbo.

hi! welcome to the forum.
if the car is a 45/999cc carb the punto 75 engine will fit straight in using the uno carb/exhaust and gearbox and with a decent ind kit will give you 80hp almost double you had to start with
