If anyone can help please My Mkll fiat punto year 2000 wont keep a charge just put new battery on ,its ok wile running around but goes flat if left standing more than 4 days, connections to Alternator seem good also to starter motor. Any sugestions.(dont whant to buy Alternator if not that as bought a new battery but still doing same with new 1).wasted £50.

How many miles do you do in your Punto? 
It might be that because it doesn't go very far it's killing the battery, or it could be something technical, but I'm not very technical with engines etc, so I wouldn't know! My advice would be to take it for a run further afield than town
