Just joined to work through some repairs to a Cinquecento, and enjoy it running!

Hopefully I can get through some odds n sods without being too slow!

Have enjoyed an Alfa 159 before now, though we mutually agreed to separate when the turbo blew ahead of a number of other tired and weary issues that were starting to show... , and after a few other hiccups...

Good cars

Biggest issue will be previous owners..as its 25 years old

Mine was a cheap used find with a seized gearbox.. thankfully 'new' enough that major corrosion had yet to surface

Still had a blown H.G. and a few weird issues (melted tailgate connectors..)

But all part of cheap old cars..

MASSIVE AMOUNT OF INFO ON HERE !!

and SEARCH works pretty well

Have had the stored a while esp as one had problems running after warming up and I couldn't find a mechanic who could work through it. Saw something about that in the thread here so that clinched it. The other I rescued from a yard that had repairable insurance write offs. Did some repairs then had a bolt snap in the body while swapping out the rear seats... . That was partly used to work through the other ones bad running, but it's going to get running again itself...
