Hi :) I need help please!

Hi there new to the fiat world as of last Saturday after a long wait for my new car!

I have had a fiat 500 automatic lounge 1.2, picked it up Saturday and km absolutely in love with it after waiting for it to be built!

So you can imagine my horror when after a weekend of driving my new beauty i can now hear a tick sound or two when the car shifts in to 3rd from 2nd or down from 3rd to 2nd. It's not awfully loud but now iv noticed it I'm so worried

My partner says it Defo wasn't there before but it's probably nothing and just a characteristic of the car! However I just hope it's normal and not a problem that is going to get ultimately worse

Is this normal? Please help put my mind to rest!!

The dualogic gearbox is fairly unusual.
is it only at the 1 point that it makes the noise..?

Yes it's just when it shifts up to 3rd from 2nd and shifts down from 3rd to 2nd more noticeable when I have passengers window down

The gearbox is that side of the car...

Try and use the manual changing..plus and minus..
does it sound the same?
only on 2 and 3..??

How many miles on the car..?

ah yes I thought it was

I haven't used the manual changing as I was just getting used to the car itself but I did think il have try that see if it happens whilst in that mode


It's got just over 114 it's brand new factory built

so....after having the new 500 for not even 5 days I have been in a crash!!

Crash for cash job. Saw a young girl driving a brand new 500 and boom lol


Anyway it's all getting sorted. However the click sound when I change from 2nd to 3rd and down from 3rd to 2nd is still there even when I manually change gears

Any help??
