The warning message on dash is that 'ABS/ESP is disconnected & Hill Holder is unavailable'
I had a look at the fault code in ECM using scan tool my friend had one. He said it was for an wheel speed sensor. I guess it causes the disconnection of ABS. As you know ABS always monitors the 4 wheels speed and operates each brake to prevent wheel locking and maintain traction control and etc. If it fails the reading any wheel speed sensors, ABS stops and the DTC is set.
The interesting thing is that the warning comes up more often when it is raining or wet condition. (My English is second language. I am wondering if it makes sense for you.)
