Hi, just want to say "hello" to other forum members.
I'm from county Waterford in the south of Ireland. I recently bought a Grande Punto Dynamique 1.4. Its black and its a 5 door model from '07.
I bought it to replace an ageing Nissan Micra K11.
There's only 35K miles on the clock and so far I'm pleased enough with it.
There are a couple of issues with it: one of the window regulators on a rear door is broken and I can't seem to get the Blue and Me system to work properly, it wont recognise any usb memory keys i have.
That said I hope to get much help from posts on this site so listen out for me...

Hello mate welcome to the forum and the Grande Punto family.

Just so you know we love pics on this forum so get some uploaded ASAP LOL. :)

In terms of the two issues you have raised, the window regulator is something you could fix yourself mate I did mine it was my back right one I was able to get a window regulator for cheap enough money and only took me 30/40 mins of my time on a Saturday afternoon. (y)

In terms of blue & me imho its horrid and doesn't work at the best of times. You would probably be better off A) installing a new headunit or B) installing an Aux cable for you to plug your ipod into.

Kind regards
Stephen

Yeah, I'm gonna have a go at fixing the regulator myself as my local Fiat garage quoted me €200 for the part fitted! I expect it can be easily sourced on ebay.
The aux cable seems the best solution to solving the Blue and Me problems, seems a straightforward job.
Apart from those things it just needs a good claying and polish and wax for the coming winter months.
I'll get a few pics up when I get her lookin shiny!
