500 Hi from a new owner

Just a quick post to introduce myself, having helped my daughter buy a lovely azure blue 58 plate Fiat 500 recently.

I will be reading through these forums with interest hoping to find out why her Blue and Me connection doesn't seem to play music from or properly charge either an Android or an iphone...

but it does sound as if you may have a more basic issue if the socket is not reliably providing 12V power,

Hi, we pick our 58 plate Sport up on Saturday. I an newbie to the site myself but welcome. I have found everyone to be very helpful and friendly during my rather short membership.

I think it is working as it plays music from a memory stick ok and on further investigations it does charge the iphone, just very slowly. This is consistent with what I have read, ie that the blue&me only offers 0.5amps and the iphone needs a bit more to charge properly....
