Hi Forum,
I am new here as well as a new ducato 2000 2.8jtd owner.
Since i bought it the heater fan stops and starts running whenever it wants but 90% of the time it just not run at all.
Since i changed basically every component and there is 12volt on the fan motor i suspect a faulty earth contact.
What i changed/ did
- new Heater motor
- new heater motor resistance
- new heater knob
- check fuse box in glove box, no melted fuses or melted connections underneeth fuses box
- check heater relais, all working and no melted or faulty connections
My question is, since there is 12v at switch position 1/2/3/4 but the heater motor is not running, there must be some resinsance further way in the circuit. Does someone here has some experience with this issue and/or solution for this?
Also a wiring diagram would be nice to find the earth locations and follow the complete circuit but somehow i can not find any diagram since it must be on the elearning thing. A screenshot would be very nice.
Someone help me!
