Stilo hi every1

hi every1 i was wondering if any1 could help me? i have just purchased a fiat stilo 2003 1.6 16v and it has developed a tapping noise from the engine but it dont tap when stationary,would really appreciate abit of advice frome any1 who knows or shares the same problem. many thanks ben
