Hi Welcome. Do you have any photos of your Punto ? Im a Automotive Spraypainter. Way we tell if a scratch will buff/polish out is if you can feel the edge of the scratch with your finger nail will need to be re-painted.

I'll have pictures up tomorrow as i'm giving it a wash and polish while the weather is nice there are a couple of the scratches on the doors that are definitely needing a touch up as they are down to the metal, some should come out with some t-cut and a decent polish. The one on the windscreen is a different matter, I don't think I can feel it with my finger nail but I bite my nails so not a great test

It's not an MOT fail as it just passed it's MOT a couple of weeks ago, i've had closer look at it and it's either going to be a get someone in job or new windscreen job. Either way it'll have to wait, other things my money needs spending on
