This is the uno i did the track day in, awsome lil car, i am hoping to purchase it if all goes to plan, bought a helmet, boots, and gloves so eager to use it lol ;)

Yes it is BUT few can argue with a 3.2 V6 with DGS - not that I was good enough to take it out of auto despite being told to, I was too worried I would break it!

Top fun but cost about £10 a minute...!

Best bit of it wasn't the car but driving around the Grand Prix track :)

Well it's not mine so stop moaning at me! I just drove it, I have driven worse things.

Just been going through my old pictures and look!!!

What you trying to say the worse things you drove is an uno??? Because they are great cars

No, I didn't mean that. That was my second uno - the first was a 89 model I learnt to drive in off road (was stolen recovered). I never ever expected to have one as my first car!

I have driven a Rover 114 Gsi which was substantially worse than the TT :p (now I don't have to chose between the TT and the Uno, it would honestly be a difficult decision because I don't want a lot of what the TT would offer).

You look slightly happy in that picture! I couldn't relax, I was **** scared because the instructor was such a ****** and made me feel bad for not being Alonso after a lap.

I meant that the fact it is a 3.2 V6 lifts it up from being a normal hairdresses car, NOT that it comes close to a car like that :)

I loved it, the instructor was like just boot it and then there was a point where i thought i should be brakeing he was said keep going then jump on the breaks it stoped in an instant :D said i was the best female driver of the day whey, went in a 360 modena too loved the sound left it in third to hear it howl :D

im sure you were fine around the track, should have complained you may have got another go in it :)

(and i wonder why people dont acknowledge me  lol :D)

3.2 v6 does lift it up slightly but its still a hairdressers car at heart :D :p

lmao alex u sado :p

Not really im like that at another modded punto :)

i did complain (students hey ;)) because he gave me less time than everybody else, I was too nervous to say anything at the time :( They offered me another high speed lap around there (in a catherham) but I said it would cost me a day and a train ticket just for 2 minutes around a track. They ended up giving me £35 onto a boots card which was useful though! (Was bought through boots)

He was a very aggressive man (and driver when he made me be the passenger, scared the **** out of me!) but just wished he had let me take my time a little and get used to it rather than shouting at me all the time. I will never do it again, I would do it privately or wait until I can afford my own car to be doing it in.

Brakes were **** too, he just said "heavy car", hmm. He said I was too figidity on the steering and not smooth enough and also took the pee out of me driving a Fiat (if i remember correctly).

But 115mph down Hanger Straight...wow!

Sounds a numpty, especially slagging off fiats when he has a hairdressors car :)

It wasn't his car :p It was silverstone racing school's I think.

I remember getting back in the uno and putting my foot down, the acceleration I got was equal to the slight acceleration you got when you floored the TT and it took a fraction of a second to pick up!

One day I will have something quick :)
