Hi all, excuse the user name, going to email the admins to change it to EssexStu (my usual forum name), but signed up years ago when i built a cinqucento..

anyway, Hi, my names Stu, thought id sign up as shall soon be buying a Doblo, and more importantly, im the new main technician at a new Fiat dealer (some will easily guess by my name the dealer). Have been a Ford Technician for the past 6 years, fully qualified btec n all the gubbings, and in october got thrown in the deep end with Fiat and am now fast tracking upto fiat DET (Dealer Expert Technician) and pretty much dealing with every Fiat that comes though our door at the moment from the simple jobs to the huge headaches (Brava's)

As well as workin non stop, my other toys include my R32 GTR Skyline and a mini estate im currently putting an MR2 Turbo in the boot, so atleast have fun when not stuck at work!

Looking to buy a 53 plate doblo in the next few weeks with hopefully the 1.3 multijet, but may end up being the 1.9... but after driving the doblo was so amazed at how good they were compared to the transit connect, the doblo actually drives like a car and not a van, love it! - and happily replace my horrid Renault 21 Savanna where you fix 1 fault and 2 develop.

Will hopefully be able to not only provide some assistance on here but also gain some much needed knowledge in problem areas (ignition switches seem to be prone as well as heater boxes!)

Anyhow, shall stop ranting!

naa, not AMC, but all the customers we are dealing with are properly slagging them off, apparently we are really damaging AMC's customer records :D

own workshop in canewdon, lol (15 mins away)

done a 1.9 multipla diesel cambelt which i believe is the same as the punto (im still learnin), but if it is they a piece of ****, except the stupid fiat tool that goes around the crank is just wierd... who ever designed that - whyyyy
