Afternoon been a member of Fiat forum for a wee while now and never released there was a Scotland one till today so joined this one too obviously. :)

I live in Nairn and have a Seicento sporting.

I will add some pic later, I do love ma Fiats had a uno 70 sx before with twin Webbers.

My sporting has had a few mods just the standard and doing the well known 1.2 conversion next year have motor already but want to check it all out and sort before it gets dropped in.

If anyone is Near Nairn let me know as not to many people up here seem to be into the forums?

Problem is I canny aford to run 2 cars...
And my Sei was just a contstant money pit.
Off the top of head the parts I replaced:
Rear Hub twice, Handbrake Cable, Alloy wheel, front tyres twice (pirelli then nankang), Fuel Tank (long story don't ask) rear bushes, spark plugs, coils, expansion tank, boot relase lever (the bit in the boot) err err there was probablly more I just can't think wright now.

See if I had the funds to run 2 cars I'd buy a Sei Sporting in heartbeat, bloody car nearly always let me down, except when it knew it was up for sale & got me down to the Lake District, round the lake distrcit & back home without missing a beat.... bloody car.

Don't know what to say to the above really?

Must have been a bad one or something, had a uno 70 SX sport before and was always reliable till it started to rot away and now my sei is the same the only things that have been replaced is because i wanted to apart from brake pipes which is an MOT fail so before they got really bad they were all changed every one of them for copper as never plan on selling him :) The only other thing has gone wrong was head gasket went because radiator decided to not flow as much as it should. now been rebuilt and gasket changed and radiator swapped for new one.

To be honest all the above are minor issues and cost peanuts to replace in a seicento, the radiator new was only 40ish from the bay?
Possibly helps my brother has his own garage to do work in yes but still not dear for parts.

Anyway update for now on mods:

Head gasket changed
Temperature gauge now wired up and working because of the above lol!!!
Alloy wheels almost done only 1 left to do
Front splitters fitted
Back windows tinted
Arbath side skirts and boot spoiler now cleaned and matt black just to be fitted

So getting to where i want the wee man to be :D

i had two sei's, the second one rotted abit but was 16v'd. the first was mint IMO rust wise ect. and mechanically perfect. after about a grand spent on it however it lost a fight with a ford escort and went to see its ancestors lol.

only ever had one unreliable fiat. and it has to be the previous owners at fault there as it was abused to hell and back.
