Hiya
My 98 HGT has been suffering from the cold recently, and wanted to ask your opinion on a problem
Basically for a few months now I have noticed that the temperature gauge takes ages to rise to the middle. It eventually does, after driving for ages. So when I got my service done last time, i changed the thermostat. This hasnt done anything to the car and it is still the same. Now that it is so cold, the car revs very high for ages (btw 2500 to 3000 revs at idle), even when I've been driving for a while, causing a jerky ride at low gears......
COuld it be the thermostat again or something else?
I suppose I need to know before the snow hits - cant have frozen handbrakes and dodgy thermostats at the same time!!
thks
