HGT Remapping

Hi everyone, i got an email from red dot racing about the remapping or our cars, he said the HGT155 are easy to do, but the HGT147 and 1.8 aren't as he needs the Ecu code to see if he can change the chip.
So the people that wanted them doing ( just the HGt147 and 1.8) could you find out your ecu number then i can email him them and he will give me a price, but he can't be 100% he can do the 1.8 as some have hybrid ecus which can't be rechipped or remapped.

Yep the number on the front of the ecu he needs, he can't give us a price until he has the ecu numbers of the 147 and 1.8's. But he did say we will get a good deal as there is quite afew of us and as we are in a club too I am thinking between £250 and £350 each inc vat, normal price is £350 + vat I am hoping for the £250 inc vat

No problem mate, do it when you get chance, no rush at the mo as i am a lil skint at the min as had to buy some computer bits and an engine mounting (usual fiat only part).

Hey mate, sry for not getting back to you earlier, had a few problems with the computer .
I am not sure which code they need but i know its about 11 digits long. If you could send them all to me, then i should be able to know which one to send them.

i was told by red dot racing that you get between a 6-12 bhp increase but its the torque that you will notice, they said that the remaps increase the torque by quite alot (not sure how much though). The car should be more responsive and better on fuel (if your light with the pedal ).

If anyone else is intrested in the remapping then send me your ecu codes (don;t need ecu codes for HGT155)and i will email red dot and tell you the price.

ive got an 11 digit no. here 0046 529 9920.

theres another 10 digit one aswell but i cant read my writin lol!! if you need it i will get it tho.

also got an induction kit and de-cat just wonderin if this would make a difference?

Hi, its ok about the time, i have been busy aswell these past few weeks. I have looked on the net and found out your bosch code will start with 026 so i think it will be the other code, lol. At the min its looking like it will be the end of august/september time (car needs new alternator and aux drive belt). Does that sound ok.

Thats the kiddo. Will email them in the week.
I want to get my exhuast done before i do the remap. Hopefully getting exhaust done by early september. So i think end of september time for the remap. Does that sound all ok.
I saw on the net that there was a hgt 147 rechipped to 175bhp (and was dyno tested at that too). Sounds quite a nice increase to me.
