well as i had nothing to do again i thought id do a project log to show progress.

Car: Mk1 hgt 20v
Cost to buy: £300
milage when baught: 129850 miles

since i baught the car i have fitted:

K&n cone filter with air feed
Adjustable fuel regulator
Denso iridiun plugs
Ported throttle body
Less restrictive front pipe
Custom mandrel bent cat back
Decat pipe
New gear box with lowered final drive
Oil catch tank system
K&n oil breather
Sparco strut brace
Front tarrox G88 286mm discs
Rear tarrox G88 discs
Front KYB gas dampers
Lowered 40 mm on front
Lowered 60mm on back
Cd player
12" sub
small amp

Still to fit:

Sparco racing pedals
Fiat coupe 20vt inlet system
Garret T25 turbo
Fiat coupe 20vt manifold
Rover 220 sdi MAF sensor
Astra 1.7td intercooler
Boost guage
oil pressure guage
vacume guage
350cc injectors
Roll cage


Now there is more but i think thats a big enough list for now, plus there will be a lot of fabrication on this car for the custom setup in the engine bay, i will post up as i go along step by step.

good stuff..but what's that box next to your battery? do the K+n breather work better?

Hi bud its an oil catch tank system it basiclly stops the oily air going into the intake and vents it to the atmosphere stopping that horrible build up of oil in the intake.

should have something else fitted today, will post pictures up when done.

right well after a bit of teathing ive got the 20vt inlet fitted and ideling bang on.

ive had to turn the fuel pressure up to as at std fuel pressure it would not idle very well and felt restricted but after feels alot better, power seams to come very early and is a constant pull instead of the orignal surges of power there is a noticeble difference in pull in 2nd and 3rd an it seams topull an extra 5mph out of 2nd and 3rd deffonatly a improvement over std just a shame about not having cams.

Next step is to relocate battery to the boot.

so does it actually work then,the 20vt inlet and TB? was meaning to get hold of them before car went off the road.It looks alot better and tidier imo :)

yeah bud drives really well to, well did until a few hours ago some ass slammed brakes on at some lights after he crossed the line and i whent straight into him, he then just drove off so i need a new front end now lol big shame as was looking forward to taking it to strip.
