Hey all.

I'm new to the world of Fiat and was wondering if anyone could help.

I am looking to get a 2006-2009 Punto. I been thinking about the 1.4 -jet or then 1.9d m-jet (130bph)

• 
  could anyone give me some advice on how reliable these models are or are there other models out there better worth looking at?
• what sort of things should I be aware of?
• what's the common problems?

anything really.

Generally speaking though, the diesel will be better if you're doing serious mile munching on a regular basis, if you're more likely to just be commuting through town then the T-Jet would probably be better.

That said though, drive a couple of each and you'll soon see which one you prefer driving.
