General helplease abs failure and everything else

Hi I'm new to this forum and wondered if anyone could help. i bought the car from ucan credit 2 weeks ago and after 1 week the cmputer said abs failure, ebd failure stop engine, airbag failure and loose connection, i refused to drive it to the service centre were i bough it as i was too scared, so they towed it back there. i got the car back sat just gone after being told it was just the battery. yesterday the abs faiure came on again and a strange noise under the car and then today it happened again but the power cut out whilst i was travelling about 20mph, i was sooo scared havent driven it the rest of the day. I called them today and they were supposd to call back they didn't though. gonna call them again tom. is this gonna be a big prob does anyone know cos i only had the car 2 weeks and most of that time there has been prob with it. any info much appreciated

They (dealer) said it was the battery on the 1st occasion, what did they do to the battery ? It seems there may be a battery fault or other voltage related cause. It may be worthwhile to take it to a Fiat/independant dealer/workshop and ask them to carry out a overall inspection of the vehicle including reading all fault memories on your car - get copies of printouts/inspection forms etc.

It may cost an hour or so labour but you can have a report detailing any faults/problems and then give that to the place you bought it from to have them rectify any faults found and giving you have peace of mind.

Seems like a battery power problem to me too...
Have the battery checked and see if there is any rust (or mud, or garbage, or vegetables growing) on your battery outlets.

VERY important on our Stilos... Quality 12V power!!!!

Get the battery checked and go to an independent/fiat dealership.

also look up the faults you're getting on here using the search option and you will be amazed at the pool of knowledge thats here. oh and welcome to forum and ofcourse stilo ownership
