I'm hoping that someone can help me, I've recently bought an Uno 45 Fire, and today tried to replace the gearbox (4 speed and whines a bit) with a five speed box from a Panda that I had lying around. However when I came to bolt it in the front gearbox mount is different for the two cars (as the new one is slightly longer), and now I have to either put the old box back or try to find a mount to make it fit. Does anybody know if the 5 speed boxes on Pandas and Unos are exactly the same, and if so hopefully I can find a bracket in a scrappy somewhere. Much thanks for any help, and hopefully the car can be reassembled soon!

You should ask a dealer for Uno 5speed mounting, even if I didn't well understand which front mounting you mean:I.I've got a 5speed Panda, but the only gearbox mounting is on its rear side, towards the cabin!

Passion has neither brands nor models!

Once upon a time I understand the main casing of fiat 4 and 5 speed boxes were the same with an extension bolted on to house the 5th gear.
Have you swapped the 4 speed mount onto the 5 speed box?
