I have a fiat scodo van 2007 model and the warning light says it is overheating even from cold it says it is overheating can anyone tell me why this is ?

I may be totally wrong , but if yours is the Peugeot derived engine etc. Peugeot have a history of what you have described , so you may find some solutions on Peugeot Forum if no luck here.

I believe it is a citron engine in the van but not 100% as I know very little about vans, my friends seem to think it’s a cooling sensor but I don’t know where this to check lol but I will check Peugeot website just in case, thanks for the reply.

Yes, Peugeot / Citroen group now called Stellentis? to include Fiat, check your engine series number against them. Possibly the Expert or Dispatch if Citroen.

All 3 'old' brands actually made their vans at the same facility

DUCATO.scudo since the 90's

So the Scudo had both PSA group and FIAT group engines

FRENCH engines look Laid down.. Italian ones Upright..if that helps
