Seicento Help

Hi im wondering if a fiat punto ecu would fit a fiat seicento 2001 year its the smaller ecu version not the big bulky square one.

Nope.got same year car and the ecus are known for problems.try the ecu doctor.

its not the actual ecu thats faulty mate my grandad broken key in ignition and the chip was faulty. he decided to throw the chip away with his temper so he is looking to get a ecu with keys locks etc just hard trying to find one the same as its all the bulky ones thats on ebay . he got it as a non runner and he bought a ecu off ebay and got it going then he broke the key lol

As far as I know the 2001 has a different ecu so has to be that exact one

Depends WHICH Punto ecu & WHICH 2001 Sei ecu??????
The number on the Sei ECU will start IAW.... but could be a M7, or M1 or so on!

I take it your car has two exhaust Lambda sensors & two connectors plugging into the ecu? (early 01 cars might have one connector).
