New to this forum, need some help with my car insurance, quotes im getting are a joke... any suggestions?

Insurance has gone up by 40% ish for everyone. All you can do is research on all the well known comparison sites, make some phone calls or contact a broker.

Add a parent as a named driver, up your voluntary excess, garage it at night, live in a low insurance group area, drive a car not many youngsters drive (L reg bubble Micra lol)

Or just pay up in monthly installments... Insurance aint cheap!

try buying a bigger car, mine went up on my 1.4 by £100 so got a 1.9 and it went down again to what it was last year, both on a modified insurane policy

Have you tried getting quotes from here yet? I tried one of the companies when my original insurance co. said that they didn't offer cover for an Abarth 500 and I found the quote to be better than the price they were charging me for my 500 TwinAir Sport.

As always though, age, experience and post code are the determining factors but there is no harm in asking, just say you are an FF member so that they factor in any forum discounts.

i just done a quote with them and it was 2200 im getting quotes from admiral for £652
its not really pay as you drive either they will see what miles you done at the end of the year and MIGHT decrease it
