Im 21 and own a stilo abarth. Before i bought the car i checked round insurers and more than gave me a quote of 750 pound when i got my 3 years no claims. i spoke to the guy and everything and everything sounded fine. So now i have my 3 yrs i came to insure with more than and they now say they are unable to insure me as i am to young and the cars insurance group is to high! Now the cheapest quote i have found using comparethemarket is jst shy of 2 grand! Does anyone kno where i might be able to find a cheaper quote!
The reason i bought the car was because 1 i love it and 2 the insurance quoted was cheap for a 2.4 litre car if i had known they would turn round and say they cant insure me i might never have got it
Thanks in advance Chris x

ive got my current insurance with more than, but when i try confused.com to see how much mine goes down in a few months, it says that they are unable to quote due to my age

should have checked the small print and/or T&C's.

£750 for a 2.4 sounds ridiculously cheap at 21 years old

there was no small print it was over the phone deal and they have recently changed there terms and conditions! It was a genuine offer

Not sure if it will help, but you may want to try Adrian Flux insurance, they might be worth a shot.

You realise that your postcode has a big influence on your insurance premium, along with age and driving history which is why two people the same age and identical history and car will have widely different premiums - especially if one lives in London/Brum/Manc/Liverpool/Leeds etc and the other in rural Northern Scotland :)

If you are young and male, add a female with good driving history as a named driver - if not your mum/aunt/big sister, try your dad

well jst got my insurance for 870 with tesco so im impressed with that as was thinking i was going to have to pay over 1200 aftermy intial plan of 750 so overall im very happy
