Hi all i started fitting a toad ai606 to a mk1 fiat punto but since removing my old alarm i cant get my car to start :( it just keeps trying to tick over not actually starting did anyone have the same problem i know my old immobilser was in my old siren i havnt got a red key or nothing my car was made before they started using them. The car still wont start thou when i remove the alarm wires so i have really done summit wrong and could someone please look over my wiring for me so i can rule that out and know its right as i havnt done nothing like this before

The 4 immobilser wires 2 white 2 blue started by cutting the red wire on the ignition switch bared it in 2 then linked a blue and a white to the red end still connected to the block then another white going to the remaining red leading to my loom then the remaining
blue to the yellow wire by my fuse box

Then on the same switch used the brown wire next to it as a 12v live linked a black with red tag wire to that

Then a black wire with orange tag next to the switch what i have just been using for my ignition source

That sounds it the other wires are just to my lights and that shouldnt stop my car from starting. The connections where already there from my old alarm so they should be right any help would be great as im completly stuck

Car wise i know all the connections it used as they are all marked with solder still
if the worst come to the worst i wouldnt have a idea how connect it back up thou didnt take notice which colours where connected to wich  so hope i cant sort it with my toad the only bit im not sure how how it was connected is the red wires i bared i took that info out of the max power guide but they where using a microscan alarm the toad could be different

Could someone please help asap as i park in a gully the car who also parks in the gully across from mine as just had a big slab put through the rear window by some chavs  at least i know someone cant nick my car thou cant start it with the keys :D

you really shouldnt start these jobs with this type of basis. just plumbing in wires with no idea what they are for just increases the chances of what has happened here. not a lot i can say bar identify which wires have been cut in the cars wiring(not alarm)and re connect to try and get it back to a working state.sounds like a cut circuit is still unjoined.
theres a wiring guide in the security faq for assistance

i know i should of took more noitce what i was doing but was rushing try get it done before have my new bonnet :( Ive had a look the only wires uncounterd for
are 2 greens ones by the fuse box not sure what they are  other than that i have used them all as there wasnt that many really to it
