i have just sold my alloy wheels on ebay for £330, but now that the guy has tryed to send me the payement, paypal want me to upgrade my account for some reason to a premier account because my recieving limit is full or something?
however, if i do accept the upgrade, i have to pay over 5% commission to them!!!!!!!!!
and ther is no way i am paying them 17 quid,
heres what they said, is there any way i can get around it?
You have received a Pending payment. However, to accept this payment, you will
need to upgrade your Personal account to a Business or Premier account.
Upgrading your account is easy and beneficial. When you upgrade to a Premier or
Business account, your Receiving Limit will be removed and you will receive a
suite of Premium features - including the ability to accept unlimited credit
card payments. The fees on incoming payments are low - just 3.4% + 0.20 GBP.
For more details, go to:
http://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-fees-outside.
If you would like to keep your Personal account, you may log in and refuse this
payment. Personal accounts may still accept payments funded with a bank account
or PayPal balance at no charge.
