Hey everyone. Looking at getting a valuation for my panda 92 selecta. Complete rust free, mot'd with 2 advisories which have been sorted. Only 50k on the clock.

Any ideas as iv pumped a lot of money into it.

Cheers

Rule no.1 is:

The car is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it.

Selectas are on red line by now due to well known electro clutch failure.

Any photos will help guys to giveyou market value for it.

I have pictures on my profile. Reason I'm asking is I may need to part with it with imminent wedding looming. Luckily the gearbox is fantastic as I had it reconditioned.

I would think to get top price for it a full record of all the work done would be a must and use a classic car website not ebay!

You could start by advertising it in the classifieds on the forum.

Selecta's aren't everyones bag so I doubt there will be the same level of interest as say a good condition 4x4.

Good luck with the sale though!

As an after thought if not in a hurry to sell why not take it to a few car shows where it will be properly appreciated?

It's not for sale yet and most probably won't be. But if funds get tight it's always nice to have a backup plan.

:yeahthat: hit the nail on the head.

I'd have said £1500 (possibly a tad more) wouldn't be unreasonable, but I doubt it'll be snapped up and you'd need to wait for the right buyer.

You'll need a good description and listing, and most importantly, countless high resolution pics (y)

Haha Mr most easterly Needed to quiz your selecta knowledge. I need the "corrugated" plastic that's sits either end of the gear stick and moves with the gear stick when changing selection. Mine is broke and parts missing. Salvaged most from within the centre console but it's a bit short when iv glued it back together.
