Hi mate,

Is the quote with your 17" alloys, powerflow exhaust BMC induction kit etc? And have you tried a quote without them?

Cheers,
Alan

have you tried more than

saying that, i am with them at the moment. they started my insurance back in march for my stilo.

i have then just redone an insurance quote with them again to see how much it would drop by, and they are unable to quote due to the insurers age :eek:

When you say you have the advanced licence do you mean you're a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists or do you mean that you've taken the pass plus course?

Unfortunately a Barchetta is always going to be expensive at your age, its classed as a sports car, plus its left hand drive isn't it? The only thing you can do is go to the price comparison web sites and get on the phone to insurance companies and try and get the premium as low as poss. What might help is having an agreed annual mileage limit.

Good luck

Mark, I thought your main car was the Panda... Are you insuring the barchetta as your main car or a second car?

Fiat Forum are doing this offer on insurance, worth a try maybe.

I tried the website this deal is with but havent tried ringing them yet.
Cheers for that one custard
Wee smurf, ah your going to hate me, but the panda could be going

Yea it is, the barchetta is rare over here and we always wanted to keep it.
The panda is cheaper to insure and tax but not really any cheaper to run plus there is still hype of the panda t-jet.
tried Adrian Flux, close to 3 grand they wanted so no no
Cheers
