Anyone had a Doblo door mirror apart? Wife clipped hers on a road barrier and the glass fell out. Have put it back and it seems OK, but then starts vibrating badly, despite having been pushed in hard again!
Went to look at one the other week and it had this problem, upon further inspection it turned out that one of the plastic things the glass (well the plastic at the back of the glass) pops into was broken and so was not fully securing the glass. Maybe worth a check?
On the grounds that we are off to France on monday and need a nearside mirror that works, visited dealer today. They have large stocks of this item as van drivers keep hitting them. it appears to be an undocumented feature that the little plastic lugs are very fragile, so replacement glass is the only answer!!
£20 for the heated version!!

Finally sorted this!!
Yes I got a new glass (£20), but it made no difference, it would still not remain in place, kept drooping.
Got round to discussing with dealer, they suggested that there could be internal damage. Ordered new complete assembly - £113!!!
Vey easy to fit, take out 2 grommets and remove little plastic trim. 4 bolts behind, change over electrics and reassemble.
Watch out when you try to change the bodo colour trim, though. It is held on by 8 lugs. Ideally you will need a friendly octopus to help you hold them all open!!
When I checked the old mirror, the part that actually supports the mirror is located behind by, I assume a very fragile, piece of plastic. This has obviously shattered with the impact.
I will be wrting to Fiat!!
