also check the fundementals before buying i.e is the red key present and has the cambelt and all tensioners been changed (fiat recomend 72k or 5 years) but everyone on here will recommend asap as if it snaps the engine is wrecked and at 69k it is fundemental that is is changed

Thats off WhatCar... ok I know i've been told off for just qouting web prices.. but they are some idea wot the markets like.

FIRST THING.... TRADE!!! therefor it's like buying from the bloke up the street... no warrenty... tus if it blows up 2 miles down the road.. oh well it's blown up!

This should be factored into the price... it may be a dealer.. but ur not gettting dealer backup.

SECOND THING... As Lozz rightly pointed out... cambelt and tensioner needs changeing b4 anything!.. check out the prices on here but its about £250.

THIRD THING.... Aircon... check it on a warm day.. above 6degs outside... it should get cold.. if it's cold but only just... it needs re-gas/service... £100ish

FORTH THING... check ALL electrics.. esp sunroof, rear window wiper, windows etc.

The Bravo's are great cars and this advise i'd give to any1 buying a used car... Just barter the chap down tho on any of the things we've pointed out & go with the price to put them right... Ring up FIAT & get a quote on a Cambelt & Tensioner change.. then if it hasn't had 1.. tell him.. well it'll cost me this to do it!

Haggle like Hell!!!! and Good Luck :)

if its standard, and trade price, i'd pay about £1100. If its got all the essentials, servicing, and its in tip top comdition, then Lozz was right to say about 1800 but its not a dealer, so i'd just walk away. you'll never haggle doen to a fair price, as you'd be taking off nearly 40% of its asking price. plus, if the guy did drop that low, i'd wonder why he was so keen to sell it...
