My Boost Guage has become a bit tempremental and generally doesn't seem to work anymore. The turbo is definately working fine. Can anyone point me in the right direction for the pipework/hoses that make the guage operate. I'm presuming it works on some sort of vaccum system but couldn't find anything in the Haynes manual.

Cheers Trevor

Threads here are getting very busy and confused ;)
I'm sure I just read about this in another thread - "Returning to Standard Boost" I think it was?

There's a T-connection on mine where the vacuum pipe goes into the Microplex ECU, at the back of the engine bay. There is a semi-rigid black plastic pipe disappearing off to the dashboard, next to the coolant tank.

Incidentally it is pressure that the gauge reads, though the pipe will be under vacuum at light throttle/overrun...

And also, (in response to the other thread) there's no need to disconnect the gauge even if running higher boost than standard, the needle will go up to 1 bar and beyond...
