2 Things:

Firstly...
where can i get something to to cover the whole where my rear wiper goes if i want to leave it off permnantly?

Secondly...
does anyone know the legal way plates should be layed out?
as in the regulation gaps between the letters and the number and the letter to other letter?

You need a rubber grommit for the rear wiper if you remove it. You can just buy the right size grommit or get a grommit from a Citroen AX i think.

not 100% on this but if you remove something that is on the car as standard it will fail it's MOT.

As far as i'm aware you don't have to have a rear wiper by law......or for an MOT for that matter

your plates must comply with a standard set by the law/DVLA though

if you couldn't remove anything that was 'standard' then people wouldn't beable to modify to the extent they do.
