General Help!! where has this come from????

Well long story short, just had to pop out and rescue the other half because the Punto has over heated(fiats eh!) Anyways got her back and told her she could take the Multi but alas she came back in and told me there was a wire hanging down

Now ive had a good look but cant seem to find where its from, could some kind person inform me if possible....thanks in advance

Remote controller block for steering wheel controls. I have it hanging loose from the back of my headunit.

It freaked me out when I saw it too. I zip tied it to the power supply and speaker outputs so I didn't freak out again. Lol.
