help stilo falut code p0141

i have a 1.6 16v 53 plate stilo and i recently had a timing belt change and new spark plugs then about a week after my mot i had a engine light pop up i recently got a fault code reader and showed that 02 sensor heater circuit malfunction (bank 1 sensor 2) , if what ive found is correct then this is the post cat sensor and im planning on switching the post and pre cat sensors to see if the falut is with the sensor or the cat , am i going down the right road here and what else can you suggest i do .

oh i got the hand held halo fault code reader and im going to see if the fiatscan can provide any more info

Are they not different lambda sensors they different tolerances so swapping them wont help I don't think.

it was on my to check list just to make sure i was thinking it would be that way thanks

I think they're the same. Easiest way would be to swap them over (assuming there's enough lead available) at the connectors, rather than struggle to unscrew the damn things.

if it was the Cat that was faulty you would get

Had this code on a few cars before where the car has collapsed and it's not shown as a lambda sensor problem
