Help!! Speedo problems on brava

hi,
just recently my speedometer going on and off, and when it does work the needle is floaty, if you get what i mean, has anyone else experienced this?

or any ideas?

This used to happen on an old bettle I had, it was caused by the speddo cable being streched, have you or anyone done any fiddling with the engine and perhaps rerouted a cable?

After putting my new engine in my car, the speedo stopped working. I havn't managered to find out why.

The rest of the dash works.

It saves me putting miles on my car, but some camera's have gone up in my area, so I need it working.

any ideas.

I can help...

All you gotta go is pop down to halfords and pick up a camera sensor, when it beeps slow down and when it dont floor it!!! LOL low mileage!!!
