Technical Help save my marriage 😀

My wife has had a 2015 Panda Trekking TA from new. She put petrol in it today and swears blind that someone has stolen her petrol cap.
She is adamant that it had one and I’m equally adamant that it doesn’t have one, just a rubber boot on the inside of the petrol flap.
Our marriage may not survive this one as I’m thinking of booking her into a home over this.
Ps. Don’t reply if I’m wrong as I’ll be the one going into a home instead

This is a common issue. I think the Haynes manual has a section on it.

From memory, the cheapest long term solution is to replace the defective wife with a gerbil. It's cheaper and less stressful.

When you’ve been married for this long you learn not to gloat…..She also started to swear at me so I’ve had to back off.
