Can anyone help me, my Bravo radio (factory) seems to have a fault.

when I switch off my ignition the radio lights stay on thus flattening the battery.
I snipped the lights wire hoping i could use the radio but to no avail. I have had to pull the fuse which is also the fuse for the central locking!!! its a real pain.

any ideas??

Thats the page i got the lighting feed wire colour from and unfortunately this hasnt helped.

Ive had a meter on the wiring blocks and the only wire with 12v when the ignition is off is the red one. this is obviously supplying the head unit lighting as well!!

I tried disconnecting this and hoped that the ignition 12v would supply it but it is dead with the perm live off.

Sounds like you may have an internal problem with your head-unit...:(

Am i right in saying (from what i have read), you have disconnected the Yellow / Black wire?

Daz

Yes your correct
I have also tried to disconnect live12v and leave only ignition live but the unit does not operate at all then!!

who knows???
