General Help Please

Please can anyone help. I have a Fiat Ducato lwb jtd 2.8 which I use a mobile grooming salon.

This last week the electrics and engine have been cutting out whilst I was driving then yesterday the engine warning light and electrics warning light came on. If I am indicating to turn when it cuts out the indicator makes a strange buzzing sound. I took it to my local garage who thought it might be the earth connection that was loose so they put me a new earth wire on.

Today it drove really well all morning didn't cut out at all, then when I tried to start it this afternoon a battery message came up in my digital window and my radio cut out. I kept my radio off all afternoon and have had no more problems with it do you think it could have been a shorting wire ?

:bang:Any ideas anyone I'm completely at a loss as to what to do. Have just spent £450 to get gear linkage and clutch sorted out and £250 for service, diagnostics and earth wire so really can't afford to take it to Fiat dealership.

Hmm...well if it's running fine without the radio then it does sound like that could be an issue...could also be that it's not turning off properly and is still drawing current even when the engine is off.

I know it's a pain but i'd keep it off for awhile and see how you get on...

Also well worth checking the battery terminals.

could be a faulty battery, or the wrong spec battery has been fitted.
