Help on fitting speakers plz

Hi have a 2001 punto 1.2 mia. i noticed when i brought that there was no speakers in the back of the car, there was the shelves for them but no speakers where underneath. obviously this was a standard fitting in punto cars just my model didnt have to speakers.So i recently brought some speakers to fit in the parcel shelf, unfortunately the wire that we thought was the speaker wire was an internal light wire (dont laugh).
Does any1 have any ideas on fitting these without having to split the front speaker wires?

you wont have to split the front signal as long as the head unit has rear fading as it will have rear speaker connections.just be a case of running speaker cable in .
punto guys will know the connections

Yeh thats the thing there isnt rear fade on the head unit does that mean that ther is no connections for the speakers?

well if there is no rear fade then i doubt it im afraid so easiest to cut nito the front speaker feed though for me i would just bung a better head unit in

thanks for your help, i think i will just have to split the front speakers unless i find another way .

you can buy external faders but you will still need to cut into the front speaker feed as its the only output from your HU
