The obvious is of course Fleabay...
but also may members here have their secret stash of parts....
Next there are the Italian Sources again Ebay but there are several fee listing sites....
The quality of repro parts is always a hot topic... and hence why many people actually prefer Used parts that may require repair or refurb...
But most repro parts come from the same sources... there is little to choose between suppliers other than price and perhaps advice...

NOS parts will carry a premium as they are usually better quality and do the job without issue..

Welcome to the forum; where about in the UK are you. Someparts youcan use 2nd hand and refurbished, but other parts you must use new. Let us know what you need, and I am sure that we can help, especially if you have another forum member in your area.

Have you got any examples of what you are looking for? I have got a number of parts and a friend local to me who does not do forums also has quite a few 500 F parts.

Thanks for your replies.
Here's a list of parts needed - any help with sourcing would be great. We're near Leatherhead in Surrey but happy to travel to collect parts.
• Lock mechanism horizontal link (the wire bit)
• Rubber covers around spark plugs
• White/cream steering wheel with white/cream column
• Wing mirrors that attach to body with screws – we have holes but no mirrors!
• Metal triangle cover for rear of tunnel
• Spare wheel rubber strap
• Gear box compartment
• Rear seat rubber strap
• Heat shield soundproofing mat for behind rear seat
• Exhaust shield
• Headlight bezels
• Luggage rack
• Front metal badge – moustache type if not too expensive as we have just stuck on a plastic one.
• Rear boot badge Fiat 500
• Rear engine mount for “F” type
• 4 x “F” type wheels and hubcaps
• Original jack and tool kit

Thanks :)

Welcome to the forum.....

If you go to the top of the page there is a section called 'Useful information for new users' and in there you will find a list of part suppliers both in England and Europe. Don't be hesitant with the Europe based companies as their websites are in English and the deliveries are really good.

Take you time and peruse them for parts and compare costs etc.

As already stated the copy/cheaper parts you pay for what you get so unless you are on a tight budget buy the best you can or NOS/used parts.

No one on here bites so ask away whatever you like. There is a function that when you type a thread title it gives you a dropdown box relating to what you are asking so if you want to browse that's a good way of learning.

And all Newbies have to post a pic of their little bank drainer....it's the law....:D

Waste of time going for used rubber parts when new ones are cheap to buy. I may have some.
Original jack , steering wheel and metal badge, hard to get and expensive unless you pick up a bargain.
Wing mirrors would be non standard item. I only have clip on ones.
Tunnel piece I may have, case of finding it.
Lock, the wire bit, think I have one.
Gear box compartment - what’s that?
Soundproofing
Engine mount got

Thanks Toshi
It’s a glove box compartment not gear box!
Would be interested in the parts you have- could you give me a price

I'd say an F Jack is not as expensive as earlier one .. they do come up on ebay...
Steering wheels are available new... rough ones do come up and can be refurbed

I thought F's had plastic front badges/moustache...
Repro Metal moustache pieces are available as are plastic centres...

as you can see the other bits people on here usually have stuff in boxes on shelves having learnt to keep almost everything...

and as said most rubber stuff is easily available repro unfortunately of dubious quality...

With regard to wheels, you might find it easier topurchase Mk1 (594cc) 126 wheels. They are a fraction wider (4ins as against 3-1/2in on a 500) and will allow slightly bigger '135' section tyres to be fitted--bit more rubber on the road.
