help needed with canbus

Hi guys , we have sold a genuine panda cd radio to a customer who fitted it into a 2004 panda to replace the factory tape player, all works well etc except the mileage lcd display in the middle on the speedo flashes now
am i right in thinking its a can error and if so whats involved(simply speaking ) in rectifying it , also is there anyone in the grimsby/hull area who can be recommended to sort it for the customer ,
