Hi...

My rear right-hand side brake light sometimes goes out. I know this because a small light flashes on the auxilary warning, (where the diagram of the little car is)

I have renewed the bulb but it still comes on now and again.

When I changed the bulb I noticed the contact was a bit worn, could this be the problem?

Any help and advice appreciated to save me having to go out and buy a new bulb housing!

Sounds like a loose contact, possibly caused by the warn contact, also have a look at the wires and their connection to the lighting cluster, check the connections of the multi plug and the wires, and the connections within the multi plug also, wiggle the whole lot around a bit, and check the lighting... probably done best with someone in the car with their foot on the break pedal, failing that, a brick or something heavy enough to press the pedal, once you've found the the cause, you're halfway there.
