Hi all am new to the forum and also to fiat ownership. I have recently purchased a 51 plate doblo cargo and now have to replace the camshaft. I have sourced the camshaft and the followers but am at a loss as to where i can purchase the tappets from. Are they a main dealer only part or has someone managed to source some elsewhere? Any help would be greatly appreciated, many thanks Aaron.

Hi all, managed to get hold of all 8 tappets for a mere £57, instead of the £154 quoted by emg fiat Cambridge! Why oh why main dealers continue to massively over charge is beyond me but atleast they gave me the part number to search elsewhere.

Hi again, turns out the tappets and the followers are one and the same! Not hydrualic tappets but bucket shim followers. Turns out i was fortunate enough to only have to replace the camshaft and timing belt so total cost of job was ONLY £59.99 (camshaft £50 and timing belt £9.99). So with the money saved I bought my little doblo some shiny 15" alloys.
