Hey everyone,
This is my first time posting but I've been taking a lot of advice from you guys over the past few months...I wanted to begin by saying Thanks!
I'm having a big problem with my 1968 500L. I just put a new 126 engine in but the car is not starting up consistantly. By this I mean that often, on first pull, the car will start. If I shut it off after a 5 minute drive and then attempt to turn it on again, it won't turn on for a while. At first I thought the engine was flooding...however, I now think that it is the starter. More specifically, I dont think the gears on the starter are catching...thus causing the car to turn on only sometimes while failing to turn on other times. What do you think? Any thoughts will help
Thanks in advance!
