In a very strange way...

The gearbox of my Uno Turbo 1.3 was removed from the car for a repair. All done was a weld to the mounting point of the gearbox. Sice then, my engine died. I have found that there's no spark from he coil. Than i checked the coil's resistance values, the TDC and engine speed sensors, the cables from the ECU to the coil, and all seem fine. The only thing left is the power module. I can't obtain a new power module. One i have found fits the old one's place and plug, but it is slightly different, i think.
Does anyone know how to check if the module is fine or not? Or could you sugest any other reasons for this? I also checked the ecu by eye and by measuring the resistances and the voltages from the Haynes if there is something burned or cracked. ECU looks fine also. Five or six different electricians could not find a reason...

Can anyone please check a working ignition module if it is Magnetti Marelli's BKL 3B? It shoukd be written on the module.

Have you had the engine running since the gearbox has been out? If not may be an earth strap thats been left off accidentaly?

The engine never started since the gearbox was removed and put back. I haven't pull the gearboz out myself, so i don't know if everything was put back correctly. Where can i check the straps?

I still think you should recheck your flywheel sensor connector, which dangles around under the coolant expansion tank. This would have been taken off to remove the gearbox. Put a multimeter across the pins and verify that it is not open-circuit.

It is unusual for an ECU to suddenly fail. Much more likely that you are missing a connection, or perhaps the ground cable to the gearbox ('earth strap') which attaches to an end housing bolt in the area under the battery.

It's sorted out!

By replacing the ECU, the microplex, the ignition module.
Probably, they were all burned while welding the transmission without proper erathing. It costed so much, it took 6 months to locate all parts, so i don't know if i should be happy.
After all, the j*rks who caused all these were not able to do a proper bodywork. I am at where i was 6 months ago. But this time with a thin layer of paint which i have to get rid of... :(

Anyway, thank you all guys for ideas.

Cheers,

Emin
