I have a Fiat 500 2009 and want to connect my iPhone to my car so I can play Spotify through my car, I don’t think my car model has Bluetooth as the pairing doesn’t work, can anyone please help me

Bluetooth on blue&me doesn't have the A2DP protocol to stream music, only hands free calls, therefore it won't play music from your phone.

Best look at an alternative, or the ruinously expensive adapter

Is there nothing I can buy to plug into the usb or cigarette lighter that will allow me to play music

Alternatively you could look at an FM transmitter which are OK, or a 3.5mm aux lead, assuming you have a 3.5mm jack port.

You should be able to play any MP3 files even from a basic USB stick direct through the cars USB if they are loaded individually and not contained in files as far as I know....the adapter is for converting the other files that are on the phones......I have several iPods and some of them play direct and other dont......just select media player
