I bought my Brava last year and have had nothing but odd problems since, please please somebody out there must be able to help! It is a 'V' reg Brava 100 1.6 16v. Most importantly the speedo does not work on start up, it does eventually kick in but sometimes this can take a while, I have a bit of car knowledge and have checked everything and all connections etc look fine. The rev counter also dances about like a mad thing while the speedo is not on. And the odo also flashes like its getting some kind of power surges but the mileage does not go up at all until the speedo kicks in, which is a worry! Any ideas anyone? Next up the temp reads 0 and it does not get warm unless the car is idle, then the guage starts going up and it gets warmer, any ideas? And finally when the car starts after being sat for a while the revs fly up to 4000 and it sticks for a bit, which really p*ss#s me off and the neighbours are starting to think im some kind of nutcase. Any help most appreciated!!
