hi

I have got a 1.4 8v active sport gp and wanting to lower it. The car is on 17 inch alloys and want it lowered but still want a smooth riding feel to the car. I'm not sure what the difference is between lowering springs and coilovers, which is best?
I also don't want the car to scrape when full of people. Any advice on good ones and how much i looking to pay would be great. Also if anyone has photos of their cars would be great.
Thanks

Eibach Sportlines are what alot of people use to lower car, as eibach says up to 30-40mm. Looking about £140 delivered. Easy to install as well.

As above, I had the Sportlines on mine and really rated them. It was a nice drop but never scraped the arches when loaded up.

The ride was firmer than standard and was more noticable over speed bumps and potholes but it counteracted this by not bouncing around so much between spring compressions.

For £150 you can't go wrong (y) Might be worth replacing the drop links at £15 for the pair while you've got the suspension in pieces as one of mine failed a few days after fitting the springs. New set on and never had any more problems.
