Hi this is my first post so be gentle, this is my problem

I’m trying to add K-Seal to my coolant to stop a couple of small leaks and prevent any more and not sure of the best way to take 2 litres of coolant out of my Fiat Brave 1.2 80 SX

K-Seal is 1 litre and should be mixed with 1 litre of water or antifreeze before going in, I can siphon header tank but will this be enough and will the K-Seal be distributed or just sit in the header tank

Don’t want to drain whole system, tried once someone told me to pull the bottom radiator hose off missus wasn’t impressed with the mess, missed container!

Help appreciated

Welcome to you noob (y) when I saw you thread heading I thought that someone has a weak bladder :D OK I got it wrong  all you have to do is drain out the same amount of coolant as your replacing if the header takes that amount then problem solved but if it dont then dont miss the container this time  the replacment coolant will eventually mix with the existing fluids but obviously not as quickly as draining and replacing the whole contents of the cooling system (y)

Cheers dan the man

My Fiats now 7 years old, not had much trouble with it, but get the felling my time is up....... will probably be back here with lot of little niggles.

Oh! one other thing, it it just mine or do the poxy rubber door handles on fiat's alway disintergrate.

Cheers

Dan the Man  He's not as handsome as me  ;) well 7 years is not a bad run without any problems is it :) as cars get older we are bound to have some little niggles such as you door handles :) but their rubber and rubber does brake down due to weather conditions sooner or later :( have fun and once again WELCOME (y)
