General HELP - headlight

hey im new,

I recently had an accident and I have broken the glass that covers the passengers headlight, i need to get this replaced, can i do just the glass, or does teh whole thing need to be replaced? how much am i looking at? also is it legal to drive around like that?

I'd say illegal. Also if it rains etc the elctrics are likely to get a soaking within the light unit itself.
