Bravo HELP!!! Exhaust back box

Hi All. I have a fiat bravo 2008 multijet diesal and My outer skin of my exhaust has come away. Now I know I don't need to worry as my exhaust is fine for now but I am preparing for when it does going and getting some quotes together. Now what I'm struggling with is actually just finding the part!! No-one seems to have one, I have been searching for days now even Ebay haven't got any! I have had a quote from a dealer of £275 fitted, but I work with a couple of ex mechanics who could fit it if I could buy one. Does anyone have any ideas as to where I can find and buy one please. Any info is much appreciated

Hi,
never looked closely at the barvo 2..,
but MOST diesel exhausts last for YEARS..,

so I'm wondering if yours has the "sacrificial" outer layer that just peels away to revel another structural one.. -as in the Panda back boxes..,

IF you want a supplier contact shop4parts - FF suporter = 10% discount,
or "big mick" @ eurocarparts, also highly recommended.

Hi thank you for replying. From what I heard today from a fiat mechanic you are correct. He told me that it kind of has 2 layers and the outer one has come off which in 5 years is good, so he told me not to worry and just to get it checked out when it goes in for a service in May. I also wondered why no one seemed to stock / supply them apart from main dealers, I will try your recommendations though to see if they can help as if it is cheaper it will be good many thanks again for replying

When I had my Panda (2004) 1.2 model, the back box peeled off some of the outer casing.............had it for two years, never worried about replacing as it was still sound, and tight.

As above. I wouldn't even bother shopping about, as when it fails it'll be so far in the future all the prices will have changed
